Why do you do what you do? And I don't mean: "For the money" or "So that I can pay the bills." I mean WHY, really... What if you could-- have the money, pay the bills, get rid of the debt; then what? What would you DO, where would you GO, with whom would you enjoy it-- or who would you GIVE it to... Why not focus on THAT today-- just BE that person, and make it so.

True Freedom

The "Young Freedom Fighters" Group at the Maximum Security Prison where I am privileged to serve, signed their self-crafted "Peace Pledge" tonight in honor of Dr. King's holiday-- in my presence (after they fasted all weekend to prepare)... Among other things, they committed to the following for the next 40 days: 1) I will do my very ...best to live in peace with my fellow inmates and officers. 2) I will not provoke or disrespect my fellow man. 3) If provoked, I will not retaliate. 4) If cursed, I will not curse back. 5) I will not lie, cheat, or steal. 6) When I am wrong, I will promptly admit it, and quickly make amends. 7) I will treat all people with the respect with which I wish to be treated... These courageous young men are out to make a difference in this very dangerous place, where some of them will spend the rest of their natural lives. I stand in awe and truly amazed at the power of God.

Thrive

Just ignore those imposters who try to distract you from your mission and purpose today... You know the ones: worry, fear, and scarcity. The TRUTH is that you were born to thrive, grow, and share your gifts with the world-- just remember who you TRULY are and give your valuable energy and focus to that. (Those weak imposters will get bored and leave you alone, searching for someone else who will pay them close attention)

Freedom Fighters

I am privileged to be witnessing an amazing transformation. Twelve inmates in one of the most dangerous prisons in the correctional system are constructing a bold peace initiative in honor of Dr. King's Dream. This is THEIR vision now-- I'm just there to facilitate, coach and celebrate as they continue to bring more men on board... I am honored to be in the battle with these courageous young Freedom Fighters-- I hope you will keep them in your prayers as they continue to change MY life.

Fear NOT

Imagine where your life would be with NO fear... What if you could stop it right as the thought is born: catch it, quarantine it, and DELETE. That thought of scarcity, of not enough, of CAN'T, or NEVER, or not YET... 99% of fear is illusion, as it never comes to pass... Treat fear as the imposter that it is. In the end we'll regret not what we did, but rather what we DIDN'T do-- Live life to the fullest, and choose COURAGE. (it's alot more fun that way)
