"Accept, embrace, forgive, and release." I find it works well with injured relationships, past failures, disappointments, regrets, and mistakes... It's the unresolved things inside that tend to hurt us the most-- and some of those things go back a long way. Bitter roots that survive and grow will hurt their host the most deeply... Just accept, embrace, forgive and release-- healing awaits.
